Bula from YWAM Fiji!
"Bula" is the traditional greeting here in Fiji and directly translated into English it means "life." Whenever you greet someone here in Fiji, whether you are passing on the sidewalk or shopping in the market, you wish them life. When Jesus was talking to His disciples in John 10:10 He said "I come that you might have life, life to the full!" so when you say bula to someone in Fiji you are actually agreeing with Jesus's plans for that person.
We believe that God is very active in Fiji and we are very excited to be a part of His plans. YWAM Fiji is actively involved in evangelism, training/discipling and mercy ministries (caring for the poor and neglected).
There is much work to be done here in Fiji and we hope and pray that you will consider joining us. Would you like to be involved in the work here in Fiji? Do you have a passion for sharing the good news? Caring for the poor and neglected?
